Meet the Team

Julie O'Brien Fairweather

Julie O’Brien Fairweather
Co-Founder, The Stroll

Julie O’Brien Fairweather is a visionary experiential entrepreneur, media executive, and certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) who has spent more than two decades shaping Boston’s social and cultural landscape through media, live events, and community-driven experiences.

As founder of Dirty Water Media and owner of The Greatest Bar, Julie built one of New England’s most recognized lifestyle media platforms and event destinations — producing television, creating influential brands, and designing immersive experiences that have brought millions of people together.

Throughout her career, Julie has created experiences rooted in connection, storytelling, and personal transformation. Her work includes landmark activations such as Survivor Café, The Greatest Bar Winter Wonderland, and large-scale women’s empowerment and wellness events featuring globally respected voices including Mel Robbins and Maria Menounos.

Her Fabulous In Full Force events alone brought thousands of women together for evenings of community, inspiration, and celebration.

Her work in wellness is deeply personal. As a certified yoga instructor, Julie integrates mindfulness, healing, and self-discovery into many of the experiences she creates, helping people reconnect not just with others — but with themselves.

Julie began her career as a television news reporter and anchor before moving into public relations and marketing, where she led campaigns and built media platforms for major brands and institutions across New England.

Today, she is co-founder of The Stroll, a next-generation experiential brand created to bring people together through beautiful, thoughtfully curated social experiences designed to foster connection, discovery, and belonging.

She is guided by a simple belief:
The most powerful experiences are the ones that help people feel seen, connected, and part of something meaningful.
